As the advertising hoardings flash around the football ground, we catch a glimpse of the referee’s arm and the ad on it. On the bus home, we’re enveloped on the top floor by commercial exhortations, then eventually, relaxing in front of the telly at home, deep within our subconscious we think: Nuts, whole hazelnuts. We haven’t been cloned by aliens; the copywriters have penetrated our psyche. By the way, do support the sponsors of our site – and have a bar of hazelnut chocolate, while you’re thinking about it.

Fantastic ad, had to catch myself from singing the Bodyform ad when I was in an elevator the other day.
I truly would have got some strange looks no doubt

Amazing how many I remember. Just shows how good advertising stays with us.
Brought back loads of memories but I wouldn’t really call it ‘funny’.
Made me laugh!
Brilliant – who says nostalgia doesn’t sell !!
