Graham Norton was fantastic when he was on c4 but when he moved to the bbc it was never the same, i think the bbc reined him in to much, so maybe Jonathan ross will be great on another channel other than the bbc.

Desperately!!! I loved Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, it was fantastic and he is a very VERY funny man. I hope he goes onto better things, Channel 4 should snap him up xx

Not really. For the last few years he had got way too big headed and carried away with his own self-importance. He gets good guests (more by default that anything else as there's no "Parkinson" show for them to go on) but then just ridicules them and talks about himself the whole time.

I'm not sure to be honest, we'll see. He'll probably turn up somewhere else!

Jonathan Ross - wasn't he the guy that used to be on TV? One good thing is that the type of programmes he made don't lend themselves to endless repeats. What a pity he is only leaving the BBC - he could have followed Wogan's fine example and retired.

UNFORTUNATELY YES, AS WE ARE ABOUT THE SAME AGE, SO I HAVE GROWN UP WITH HIM.

I don't think we'll have time to miss him - a move to Channel 4 or ITV is surely on the cards? Just hope his new show will attract the same calibre of guest.

In a word No. He'll no doubt do a similar programme on one of the other channels.

    - most chat shows are mostly pretty dreadful, - he made a good stab at it I thought, but his main thing - the film programmes - were always knowledgable & interesting I thought

Yay!!! I'm glad he is gone now!! Nothing to do with any of his antics, the man just completely irritates me! My only regret is that I am likely to see him on one of the other channels instead! :(

It'll surely be hard to miss him - he'll be back on another channel. Question is whether he'll be paid the 'market rate' by Channel 4 (I very much doubt it)?

No not really - he's not my cup of tea, I think there are better people out there for his sort of show.

As light entertainment goes he was okay, I never watched him much. He'll do other things.

I watched Jonathan Ross on a Friday night but, to be honest, he hs got a tad boring lately with many of his interviews being more about him than the guests. I'm feeling sorry for 'Four Poofs and a Piano', they've had regular work for years, what will they do now?
