Jonathan Ross has announced he is stepping down from Friday night chat show, Radio 2 show and film review programme for BBC after 13 years service.

Will he be missed?

yes definatley on a friday night he ia a great host but no adoubt will be on our screens somewhere soon after his contract ends

He was no Parky bur hey the celebs would come along and look stupid for him! Sometimes vice versa

He was alright, but cant say i am a regular watcher of his show. As many said he is bound to appear on other channels so im sure i'll catch some other program of his.

About time, the good news has come about 13 years too late - I wish him luck in what he does next, but hope he won't be gracing our screens anytime soon

Not bothered about the Friday night show, but I love the Film show, so hope they appoint a quick replacement. Mark Kermode is lined up apparently, and would be excellent - I like his reviews on The Culture Show.

I wont miss him at all, I always found him a pompous pratt and am glad he will be off our screens, over payed , and a waste of us the licence payers money.
This was probably on the cards after his and Russell brands phone prank, they might have had him back under the proviso he would go gracefully once the furore had died down.

I neither like nor dislike him....I think there will be something else in the pipeline for him and he probably knows when the best time to go was.

I like him and thought the public outcry over "sachsgate" was ridiculous - but i'm sure wossy will be back on our screens soon enough. And there is other talent for the BBC shows - he couldnt stay there forever. Good luck to him.

I don't even bother about which channel somebody is on - if I want to see either the programme or the presenter, I'll tune in to where it's happening thus nothing to miss as such!

We all love Friday Night with Jonathan Ross in this house, love the off the cuff banter and 4 poofs and a piano
Great light hearted entertainment

this is such a shame, i love Mr Ross on a Friday night, the way he is with guests is like noone else, he will be greatly missed on my TV!!
